ABSTRACT

We each have our own perceptions, most of them unconscious, of how the world and people in it work. Many of these perceptions stem from childhood (that is, if your parents always told you that you are a nice and worthwhile person, you are likely to think of yourself as nice and worthwhile, whereas if they said that you are fat and selfish, you are likely to grow up thinking you are fat and selfish).
