ABSTRACT
Buildings are integral to the work of all those involved in the management of housing. The job titles and descriptions are myriad, and include housing managers, housing officers, maintenance staff and frontline housing staff. In this book, I use the term ‘housing manager’ as shorthand for all these roles.
