As before, compliance with the Workplace (Health, Safety and Welfare) Regulations 1992 and the Health and Safety at Work, etc. Act 1974 can be achieved by complying with Parts M and K.

The links between the guidance contained in Approved Document M and the duties of an employer or service provider are important. It is not a requirement to follow the guidance in the Approved Document (all editions) for satisfying the duties to make reasonable adjustments to physical features of the premises in certain circumstances.
