ABSTRACT

The disorganization of the known-world today differs from what meaning depreciation once was historically. In the public space, organizations defend specific logics of action as they arise, are needed or disappear, depending on the credit they hold or win. The family acts as a structure, a model for behaviour that, once hated, now finds favour with some market analysts: family firms are more innovative and efficient than non-family businesses and, according to some, are the foundation of future economic growth. Thus, in the public space, the logic of the family, the profession, the market or the state is more or less accessible to each organization. Logics of action are descriptions of the world and justifications for the voluntary actions of decision-making processes, clearly defined or otherwise. Depending on the context and the organization, being seated to the right of the host holds a distinct meaning.
