Introduction

This is the second edition of Thinking Italian Translation, which was first published in 2000. This book is a practical introduction to translation from Italian into English, and was originally developed from courses piloted in the Universities of St Andrews and Glasgow, following other languages in the ‘Thinking Translation’ series (French, German and Spanish).
