The magazine example

Let’s look at one specific magazine and see how it could provide inspiration for your own features. I have chosen an issue of Stylist magazine from 17 September 2014.

Here is a list of everything it has in it, and the feature ideas they made me think of. As with all of the ideas throughout this book, I have tried to write them as they come to me and not edit them for quality – remember, not all of your ideas will be good enough to make it to pitching stage, the point is to learn how to have so many ideas that you will always have some good ones to choose from.
