ABSTRACT

Media management is probably the most important piece to this puzzle. In the IP-and fi le-based ecosystem, media management is the core of how technology, operations, workfl ow, and business processes all interact and function. AND, at the heart of media management is metadata. The logging and entering of metadata is essential because it includes the critical information used to package, sell, and distribute a show. Metadata is associated with the media at all stages of the media management lifecycle.
