ABSTRACT
Chapter 6 discusses population size as an explanation for Olympic success. It is evident that small countries have a disadvantage at the Olympic Games, however, this does not necessarily mean that there is a correlation between population size and Olympic success. I give the example of contrasting success between India and China, and discuss the success of small countries like Cuba relative to their neighbors.
