ABSTRACT
The following presents a discussion of the research results that places the insights gained from the “Global Survey on Public Attitudes towards Climate Change” research project into the context of existing literature developed in the early chapters as well as with the underlying theories, hypothesis, and research questions of this study. The final part of this chapter addresses the meaning and implication of the knowledge gained for future communication efforts, emphasizes country-specific differences in the findings, and points to future research questions.
