The purpose of marketing research is on the establishment and operation of an internal research department. The nature of research is a long term operation is always efficient and profitable than an ad hoc enquiry. Routine work is applicable in terms of regular investigation of similar products or within specific markets. An internal section enlarges, so can the research needs of the firm and vice versa.
