ABSTRACT
Remember, this is not a book about writing or statistics (p. 1) – there are entire books devoted to those topics – including the APA manual, which I highly encourage you to use as your write your dissertation. This book is about skills you can use after you complete your research project – and clear written communication is one of those skills. So, although I will go over the structure of your dissertation and provide insight into the specific sections of your paper, my main goal remains helping you hone general skills like clear, concise writing that you can continue to use long after you have submitted your dissertation.
