ABSTRACT
This chapter provides GCSE Drama project for supporting students on the autistic spectrum in mainstream secondary schools to meet the needs of teaching assistants and learning support assistants. When embarking on a GCSE Drama Project, which entails numerous different tasks undertaken over several weeks, the instruction sheet can be very daunting for a pupil with Asperger Syndrome (AS). The chapter presents worksheets or workbook that breaks the project down into manageable tasks for the pupil to work through a page at a time. Notes should be made on the worksheet to be word processed later in the format required by the examination board. Addressing issues that arise on a daily basis, it is full of practical advice and strategies for supporting students socially and academically across all areas of the curriculum.
