ABSTRACT

Traditional city planning methodologies based on master plans and comprehensive planning are inadequate to guide intelligent city planning. This is due to the digital dimension of intelligent cities, which is based on smart infrastructure and e-services, and the need to connect city planning methods, innovation management, and software development. ÂInnovation platformsÊ and Âsmart environmentsÊ are the fundamental implementation elements of intelligent cities, and end-of-the-day intelligent city planning introduces a group of e-services that enables innovation and better performance to take place.
