ABSTRACT

In the late 1970s Eugenio returned for a period to observe the daily training. This happened when they started researching the life and works of Bertolt Brecht, a process which gave birth to two performances at the same time: The Million and Brecht's Ashes. The character of Polly Peachum, one of the three Geronimo was given by Eugenio for Brecht's Ashes, danced with a parasol. Looking back Geronimo feel that it was precisely the possibility of introducing costumes and objects used in daily life within the training such as scissors and balls of wool, umbrellas and roller skates, that created a favourable environment for the birth and growth of some of our characters. It was the Fiskedam that gave birth to the characters of Katrin and Mother Courage which Iben and Else Marie created for Brecht's Ashes. The work on the composition of a character also includes research into the way the voice is used.
