ABSTRACT

Milan, 1944: Fausto Carreri and Ada Papotti meet on tram 23 which still runs from the neighbourhood of Citta Studi to Piazza Fontana to this day. Both of them were living with their families in Citta Studi after moving from the Mantovan countryside before the outbreak of war. In 1972 author registered at the Faculty of Literature and Philosophy at the Universita Statale di Milano. She had been frequenting the Milan theatres for the previous four years, and on that May evening, as her car clambered up towards Bergamo, she was convinced that she was about to see a good performance. In December 1973 Odin Teatret returned to Italy for the Triennale di Milano with Min Fars Hus. The author participated in the workshop they held at the Universitaa Cattolica. After the Milan performances, Odin Teatret returned once again to Bergamo to present Min Fars Hus at the Teatro Tascabile.
