ABSTRACT

Reflecting upon the story of author's training, she realise that since joining Odin Teatret, it has gone through four seasons. She is able to recognise how the aim of the first season was to discover new ways of 'thinking the body' and find her scenic presence through exercises taught to her by others. At this time, the author also began to utilise the training to break those clich that had consolidated themselves in her work over the years. Now, in the fourth season, she is moved by a kind of existential necessity that concretises itself in a theme. The sustained rhythm with which they worked was aimed at overcoming mental blocks, and thus also physical ones, caused by fear. The first years of the author's training included walks and positions for which the basic principles were taught by Iben. Being in sats position implies being present in the moment.
