ABSTRACT
This chapter describes crew positions that are usually located in the control room. The jobs are structured by the particular hardware and software installation – the equipment package – to be found in a given television station. For example, the procedures associated with the Graphics position will vary a great deal, depending on the hardware/software package used to create, store, manage, and recall the graphics in a particular installation. Nonetheless, certain common tasks and procedures are associated with these jobs.
