ABSTRACT

This chapter presents some concepts and techniques that can help the group after they have gathered the stories. A collection is a set of documents of different media and formats, intended for research, consultation or simply storage. What is essential is that it does not mean that the initiative becomes unviable due to the amount of work or expense. It is, therefore, important that a certain effort be made for the stories to become part of social memory. The interviews and the story circles can become written texts in order to make it easier to search in online databases, or to use in books or educational material. The important point in the entire process, however, is the awareness that the group are producing content from valuable memories and that the whole set of narratives, as well as the catalogues, documents and photos, can serve a number of different purposes for the group itself now and in the future.
