ABSTRACT

Coordinated management of supply chains emphasizes collaboration among supply chain enterprises. Coordinated management of supply chain can improve core competitiveness of the enterprises and enhance the overall competitive advantage of the supply chain as a whole. Rapid reaction to demand can become more agile, and thus the demands of economic globalization can be met more effectively. Supply chain coordinated management is the key factor in the creation of supply chain value, and the lack of collaboration in supply chains leads to bullwhip effects and low efficiency. The fundamental newsvendor model has only one stage, and all the decisions have already been made before the demand information is completely known. Generally, in terms of the probable demand disruption, modulation of manufacturing decisions can help achieve anticipated profits. In reality, demand disruption might occur and the cost created by demand disruption and redundant inventory are unknown. The evolution of enterprise relationship challenges the traditional economic lot size.
