Things to Do Before People Leave the Room Before your people leave the room, your next steps begin. Design studios are mentally exhausting. People must think, sketch, group, evaluate, vote, re-sketch, critique, order, and more. Within a very short timeframe, you place a large mental load on people, who already must balance their busy home and work lives. In addition, some people may have traveled from a di erent city (or country) to participate in the design studio. They will be physically exhausted. When your design studio ends, make sure you do a Design Studio Debrief to set expectations, thank participants, assign deliverables, and outline all of the next steps. It is a critical rst step!
