ABSTRACT

Everyone likes to share with other people lessons they have learned, knowledge they have gathered, and their opinions about the music, books, movies, and other arts that have brought pleasure to their lives. All have hunted the Internet for advice, whether it is "how to" guidance or general advice on something wants to know more about: paying for a college education, for example, or dressing well on a budget. Good advice comes with a caveat call the "Rule of Three S's". McCartney offers the advice: "Watch every movie you can get your hands on. Then look up criticism on those movies. Build a library of knowledge about film that you can draw on". "Particularly with something like amateur film criticism, it's easy to slip into the habit of only reviewing the movies you want to", says Corey Plante, a co-founder with McCarthy of Snippet Studios.
