ABSTRACT
Genre answers the question, “what is the form of the play?” Genre is a literary term that is applied to many forms of artistic
expression. Its defi nitions apply to any form of art, literature,
or discourse, based on the application of a set of stylistic
criteria that allows for the recognition of common attributes.
