ABSTRACT

In the annals of famous quotes about leadership that one resides in the hall of fame. It is attributed to Dwight D. Eisenhower, the 34 th President of the United States and a fi ve-star general in the US Army during World War II. I start this book with the quote because it raises a number of questions in my mind. Is leadership really an art? Do leaders really try to get people to do something? Is leadership about what the leader wants?
