ABSTRACT
It's not uncommon for a lively class discussion to grind to a halt once students learn that they have to produce a written response of some kind. While an IWB won’t do the work for them, it can make organising and modelling a writing task much clearer. Fleeting thoughts can be captured on the board and then sifted and sorted to produce the outline of a text.
