For reducing and enlarging it is easy to use the same standard formula used by quilters and other crafters. With the formula given in Chapter 12 , you can get the approximate size of your design. Note: it is recommended after reducing or enlarging patterns, to first build a mock-up with the newly scaled pieces before continuing with the final foam assembly. The mock-up will:

Tell you if you need to enlarge or reduce the pattern.
