ABSTRACT
When looking for a good site for wind turbines many different factors have to be considered. The most important is of course the wind resource. Local conditions like hills and mountains, buildings and vegetation influence the wind and have to be considered in a more detailed calculation of how much wind turbines will be able to produce at the site.
