ABSTRACT
Chapter 3 in the Workbook defines normal childhood development and describes the process in four stages. Motor-physical, language, cognitive, emotional, moral, and psychosocial development are outlined in Figure 3.1 in the Workbook. Adult children can use this information to clarify for themselves what is “normal” and identify their strengths and weaknesses.
