ABSTRACT

Audio presentations enable students to give full visual attention to the graphics while listening to the message. If instruction is presented in both visual and aural modes, care must be taken to synchronize the narration with the graphics. The purpose of early testing is to get a preliminary evaluation of the adequacy of the presentation and the range of possible responses other than the ones reader anticipated, both right and wrong. Record unanticipated responses, both correct and incorrect. Notice whether students are able to interact readily with the computer or whether difficulties arise when they are trying to enter responses. Analyze unanticipated responses. Those that are correct can be added to the list of acceptable responses when reader revise the lesson in the next circle of the Ripple Plan. Computer systems vary widely in both hardware and software capabilities, such as the size of the display screen, graphic capability, speed of display, and the programming languages.
