ABSTRACT
The Serials Cataloging Cooperative Training Program (SCCTP) makes available standardized training materials and provides a pool of experienced trainers to deliver continuing education workshops. The program is authoritative, effective, affordable, and widely available. This paper describes the experiences of a number of trainees and trainers who participated in the Basic Serials Cataloging Workshops given across Canada.
