ABSTRACT
The news of Eulhwa’s banishment ceremony was spread by mouth to every part of the county. This news also travelled as far as to reach the house of Master Chung, a local dignitary living within the township of Kyungju, outside the West Gate. The eldest daughter-in-law of that family had her parents’ home in Angang and it was her mother who had spoken of Eulhwa to her and through her it had reached the ears of Master Chung’s household.
