ABSTRACT

The first section is concerned with observations and reporting findings. This leadoff observations ection outlines three distinct categorical areas - about the book in general, about the case study of Lakota Oyate, and frames of analysis. The findings section includes: the Lakota Oyate case study, Native Nations and American Indians, and the methodological approach. I distinguish between extended conclusions about the Lakota case, and those about other cases in the western hemisphere.2
