ABSTRACT
In previous chapters, we have discussed many different scenarios where adaptivity and personalization can improve students’ learning experiences. In this chapter, we shall look at the application of adaptivity and personalization in mobile and ubiquitous learning environments. In such environments, students are typically not in classrooms, rather they learn wherever they are, on their mobile devices, such as cellphones or tablets. Let us look at how these types of situations have emerged.
