ABSTRACT

First, because much of the interest in strengths-based practice relates to the core idea of focusing on the ability of youth, other evidence-based variables have been underemphasized despite their influence on effective services. Routine and ongoing real-time feedback is used to maintain a responsive, consumer-driven climate to ensure the greatest benefit of services. David and Carole were administrators who were using the kind of talk that is routinely absent in YFS. David and Carole, along with others, had worked tirelessly for a new vision of child and family services in Minnesota. Best available research involves commitment to remaining up to date on empirical studies that pertain to YFS and integrating any relevant findings through policy revisions, training, and practice. The most researched area in psychology and psychotherapy is the therapeutic relationship and alliance with over 1100 studies to date. Clinical expertise refers to the role of YCWs as agents of change.
