ABSTRACT

Moving a theatrical production from page to stage in an organized manner is a monumental effort not for the faint of heart. Some degree of blood, sweat, and tears goes into every show we mount; however, we can minimize the spilling of these biological sacraments by sharing a defined process and set of expectations with our fellow collaborators. Most theatre professionals in the United States are familiar with a progression from idea to realization known as the production process, and by understanding and adhering to these steps, we can pave the way to a successful opening night.
