ABSTRACT
Two fisherwomen, Mama and Moana, a group of kids and me are heading to Koromiri, an islet in Muri lagoon on Rarotonga’s eastern side. It is low tide and perfect for an excursion to the reef, when we take off in a new dugout canoe built by a group of men in the community.
