ABSTRACT

The idea being tested in God, Education and Modern Metaphysics is that God, seen in the Western tradition as thought thinking itself is experienced by the individual as the educational necessity to know thyself (KT). The logic of mastery presupposes mastery as independence, independence as truth, truth as the One, and the One as the first principle. This book presents a study of God and education, and tries to explore what happens when the aporia of mastery is granted its own logic of presupposition within a logic of education. In the exploration of the differences between a logic of mastery and a logic of the aporia of mastery, it is perhaps inevitable that people look at the actuality of this relationship as it works within the mind, that is, as it is experienced, or as a process of individual education and learning.
