ABSTRACT

Basically, ѯ can be defi ned as ‘some’. The noun following it can be either a countable noun, such as Ҏ (rén: person), or an uncountable noun, such as ∈ (shuǐ: water). Once ѯ is used, a measure word is no longer used. If a measure word is necessary, then ѯ cannot be used.
