ABSTRACT

This conclusion presents an overview of key concepts discussed in the preceeding chapters of this book. The book discusses a practical resource that has extended the people knowledge of research on self-regulation. It presents activities and ideas to expand their toolbox of strategies for promoting self-regulation in the classroom. The book provides research articles related to self-regulation. It shows how to prepare children with the skills they need, and also examines how to prepare them for social and academic success in early childhood and beyond. The book finally presents a "quick reference guide" for the tips and activities that were included in the preceeding chapters.
