Each of the following sentences is, for one reason or another, unacceptable as a conclusion or thesis of an argumentative essay. FIRST, appealing to the seven rules presented in this chapter, state briefly why each is unacceptable. SECOND, rewrite it so that it will be acceptable. Use your imagination freely in rewriting.
