ABSTRACT
The focus of this chapter is to present the relevant portions of the BMC which support and enhance understandin g of the five phases of development inherent in the KMP: oral, anal, urethral, inner genital and outer genital. The authors consider this paper a work in progress and a beginn ing step towards developing a more comprehensive study of the similarities and differences between the two systems.
