ABSTRACT

Forgiveness is essential to good health, especially in the last third of our lives. The burden of resentments, things or people unforgiven, and unfinished business are all too heavy to carry on aging backs. Those people who have done vital unloading through their lives have a wisdom and freedom to be admired. What I know about forgiveness comes from my own experience, Twelve-Step programs, and especially the work of my friends and mentors Suzanne and Sidney Simon.
