ABSTRACT
The framework Schank developed in the work collected in Part I of this book places the explanation-construction process at the center of intelligence, and outlines how the process works. Part I brought together a sampling of the work that has been done by Schank's students, in which they built on that framework. Each chapter in Part II is an effort to fill in part of Schank's outline, to make the theory specific enough to be implemented on a computer.
