ABSTRACT
“Sculptural metaphors” refer to the physicalizing of idioms of speech by using concrete objects to dramatize interaction. Expressing and externalizing a metaphorical description of a relationship in concrete sculptural form has the potential to create discontinuity (interrupt process), introduce novelty, and tap into deeper emotional experience.
