ABSTRACT
An hour out of town next morning we were halted by a group of armed men in civilian clothes, who demanded the sum of money paid me the night before. When my statements, plus the Mission check, finally convinced them that their effort was fruitless, it was suggested that I add five of their number to the body guard.
