ABSTRACT
Reforms in the 1990s transformed the ways in which both nation and state had been structured up to that time. New concepts began circulating about Argentina’s place in the region and the world on the two dimensions of any nation-state project—people and sovereignty. Ideas and policies on citizenship changed, and new ways of conceiving national territory and frontiers emerged.
