ABSTRACT
The purpose of this chapter is to look at developing ideas regarding education and training for family therapists. Two models will be examined in detail and some research findings will be presented relating to outcome evaluation of a limited area of the training experience. Some ongoing problems in the field will be considered and suggestions for future research will be offered.
