ABSTRACT

This chapter focuses on some of the proactive ways in which classrooms and other work settings can be set up to maximize positive behavior. It refers that Plan A because the first and primary purpose of any classroom behavior regime or strategy is to establish and maintain positive, appropriate behavior. Plan A should also give a clear message that one need to actually have a plan to establish and promote positive behavior. The low-level disruptions include talking, disturbing fellow students, making silly noises, and so on. Recognizing that not all students will oblige by behaving appropriately, we address strategies for dealing with inappropriate behavior in. The chapter also considers why it is important to teach the students social skills, the skill of collaboration. Being a good citizen, a good employee, or a great student requires social skills such as the ability to get along with others. The purpose of public education has been affected by major changes in American society.
