ABSTRACT

Michael L. Sulkowski, Ph.D., NCSP, is an Assistant Professor in the School Psychology Program, a Clinical Assistant Professor in the Department of Psychiatry, and an affiliate faculty member in Family Studies at the University of Arizona. He teaches classes on law and ethics in psychology, crisis management, mental health service delivery, behavior modification, research methods and design, and personality/social-emotional assessment. Dr. Sulkowski’s research focuses on how risk and resiliency factors influence the academic and psychosocial outcomes of youth who have been victimized or are socially disenfranchised more generally. In addition, Dr. Sulkowski is interested in exploring how contextual factors influence various outcomes of at-risk youth as well as in efforts to support student mental health, to reduce school violence, and to foster nurturing learning environments for all students.
