ABSTRACT
Stories can be categorised by their general type they are adventure, ghost, mystery, science fiction and thriller or by their theme- family, school, sport, space. Before one starts to write a story, they need to think about what type of story you are going to write, the purpose of the story and the point of view from which the story is going to be written. When one had thought of an idea for a story, the next step is to make a plot. The plot of a story is the outline of events that take place in the story. One can make the plan of a plot by drawing a storyboard or a flow chart. Every story has a plot. The plot is the outline of the series of events that happen in the story. Often you can sum up the plot in a few sentences, or you can show it in the form of a flow chart.
