ABSTRACT
In today’s China, one would be at a loss without knowing the unwritten rules related to all aspects of life. Unwritten rules exist everywhere in the world, but they exist in such a pervasive manner in China that one must know them to fully understand the inner workings of society, for anything from seeing a doctor to making a business deal.
